Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems: Work with motors, transformers, and power distribution panels that are critical to Oil & Gas operations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues: Quickly identify and solve electrical problems to prevent downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance: Regularly inspect systems to ensure they meet safety and industry standards.
- Read and interpret technical documents: Use blueprints, schematics, and manuals to guide your installation and repair work.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians: Work closely with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Document maintenance and repairs: Keep detailed records of all activities to meet company standards and ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: A diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 to 5 years as an Electrical Technician, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry or related sectors in the KSA or GCC region.
- Skills: Expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems, with a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
- Certifications: Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, IEC) are a plus.
- Language: Fluent in English; Arabic skills are a bonus.
