As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of heavy equipment vehicles, including bulldozers and military vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that these vehicles not only look their best but are also protected from the elements and wear and tear.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming them.
- Apply various types of paint finishes, including enamels, lacquers, and epoxies, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Ensure that paint is applied evenly and to the desired thickness.
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects and imperfections, and take corrective action as needed.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in painting heavy equipment vehicles, such as bulldozers and military vehicles.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of various paint types and application techniques.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
